The central boardwalk area is really the sweet spot of the boardwalk - between the crowded inlet area to the south, and the quiet, mostly-residential area to the north - 12th Street offers the best of both worlds! Plenty of activities for everyone - the beach, outdoor dining, shopping, kid-friendly activities and nightlife, just to name a few.

And while the boardwalk bustles with activity, especially in the summer months - the noise is never overwhelming. Our top-floor location offers you the option of making things as quiet and private as you like, while still being close enough to be part of the action.

The Decatur House building offers an indoor pool with code-controlled access (pool open Memorial Day until September), an elevator that services all floors, stores on the boardwalk-level (including a Subway sandwich shop & sundries store), accessibility ramps and a reserved parking spot - highly valued in this dense area of town.

Decatur House also offers mass transit options - the OC Bus stop has a northbound stop right at 12th & Baltimore (southbound located 12th & Philadelphia). Ride the bus all day to anywhere in Ocean City for $3. There is also a boardwalk tram stop right in front of the building that services the entire boardwalk for a nominal fare.
